Future Past Continuous Tense

Pada bentuk waktu yang satu ini, sobat dapat menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang berlangsung di masa lampau, tapi karena berbenturan dengan lain hal maka perbuatan tersebut tak jadi dilaksanakan. Oleh karena itu, bentuk kalimat ini tidak dapat berdiri sendiri melainkan harus disertai dengan peristiwa lain.

Kalimat positif

Subyek + should/would + be + present participle

Contoh: “He would be writing letter if he had not any homework.”


Kalimat negatif

Subyek + should/would + not + be + present participle

Contoh: “She would not be listening to the music when the lesson began.”

Kalimat interrogatif

Should/would + subyek + be + present participal?

Contoh: “Should I be doing my homework if I had to join the English club?”
